State Representative Ray Weter is proud to have served the citizens of the 142nd District
for the last four years. He has kept his promise of being an "on call" representative, being readily available,
and taking the voice of the 142nd District to Jefferson City.

A crucial trait of an effective representative is being able to explore all aspects of an issue and determine
its possible effect on all citizens. The exploding growth of the 142nd District has brought many challenges and the need for
careful analysis of all issues.
Merely being passionate about one issue is not qualification enough to represent
the citizens of our area. Being one of 163 people in the House of Representatives requires the skills of mediation and
good communication in order to get conflicts resolved and bills passed. Representative Weter is well known at the Capitol
for these skills and is highly respected by both sides of the aisle.
Awarded Freshman Legislator of the Year in
2005 for his work is social services, Ray Weter has shown compassion, his willingness to tackle extremely difficult issues
and a determination to do the best possible job for the citizens of Missouri.
